In many cases, yes. Rope access lets a trained technician work safely on the stack from the roof, which suits repointing, flashing repairs, cowl fitting and inspections. Full rebuilds or heavy structural work may still need scaffold, and we will tell you if that is the case.
For targeted chimney repairs it is often cheaper because there is no scaffold hire, erection, dismantling or licence for the pavement. The saving depends on the building and the scope, so we compare the options honestly when we quote.
