Who we are
This website is run by Asset Access UK Ltd(“Asset Access”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17235020) with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, contact us at info@assetaccess.uk or on 0191 743 6989.
What we collect and why
We only collect what we need to respond to you and to run this website.
- Enquiries.When you use the contact form, email us or call us, we receive the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company, the service you're interested in and your message. We use these to reply, prepare quotes and carry out any work you ask us to do. The website itself does not keep a copy of contact form messages: each one is sent straight to our email inbox.
- Website usage.If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you found and used the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and actions such as clicking our phone number or sending the contact form). We use this to understand what's useful and to improve the site. See our cookie policy.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider processes standard technical information, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the site securely, and provides us with aggregated visitor statistics that do not use cookies or identify you.
Our legal bases
- Contract: to respond to quote requests and deliver services you ask for.
- Legitimate interests: to answer general enquiries, keep business records and keep the website secure and working.
- Consent: for analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: where we must keep records, for example for tax purposes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with suppliers who help us run the business and website:
- Our website developer and hosting provider (BKA Digital and Vercel), who run and host the site.
- Resend, the email delivery service that sends contact form messages to our inbox. It keeps delivery logs for a short period and does not use your details for anything else.
- Google, for email and, if you consent, Google Analytics.
- Sanity, which stores the case study content shown on this site.
- Professional advisers, insurers or authorities where we are legally required to.
Some of these suppliers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 2 years in our email records. The website does not store them.
- Customer, quote and invoice records: up to 7 years, to meet tax and legal requirements.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, or restrict or object to how we use it;
- transfer your information to you or another organisation;
- stop using it where we rely on your consent.
To use any of these rights, email info@assetaccess.uk. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if the way we use personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
